2025 FS NAC at Carlyle, IL - We had a fabulous regatta, chaired by Rick Bernstein. Rick Strester managed 5 nearly flawless races and there were just no protests for our judge Vlark Chaplin and crew to hear! The venue was great, the food was great and we all had a great time.
After our final lunch we handed out the trophies to the winners, including our perpetual trophies. The Championship Winners were David Ames and PJ Buhler, and the Challegef winners were Dave Safirstein and Carol Claypool. The Fleet One trophy went to Gleet 23 from Corinthian Yacht Club. Tonight’s Annual Dinner was just so delicious and the Annual Meeting was great. Fleet 118, Birmingham Sailing Club was awarded the Fleet of the Year, officers gave their reports and outgoing President Jim Leggette turned over the gavel to our new President Nina Cummings. The Flying Scot Fleet of the year award went to Fleet 118, Birmingham Sailing Club. It was awarded for their tireless work to get people on boats as well as running national events. Fleet Captain Stan Graham and his skipper Sally Morriss were there to accept the award. Congratulations on winning this prestigious award!
