The Flying Scot fleet at Lake Lanier and their guests had a great time on 9/13 and 9/14/2014 at the Scot-a-Hoochee regatta.  Racing was challenging as storm clouds moved around us Saturday, creating big wind shifts.   We got in four races Saturday and finished in a dying breeze.  Sunday conditions were light rain and a shifty east breeze and we got in two races before we headed in for lunch.  The top four finishers were from out of town, including some top notch national competitors - Rob Fowler, Peter Beam, Sandy Eustis, and Joel Verplank.  One highlight of the regatta was the after dinner leader’s debrief when the top skippers sat down and discussed the technical aspects of the days racing. See more details, pictures and full results here.
