The Flying Scot Great 48 Regatta at Lake Norman Yacht Club is always a fun regatta and a great place to race sailboats. Regatta chair, Carol Sandke, ensured that this year was no exception. Thirty-one Scots signed up which included several multi-time national champions in the Scot fleet and other fleets. Friday night’s welcome dinner included open taps and tasty tacos.

Continue Reading...2025 Midwinters 1 race only. Friday's wind prevented us from continuing. Saturday's wind prevented us from going out. Sunday's thunder and lightning was a sure sign we would not be sailing.
