2020 North American Championship at Cedar Point YC in Westport CT

Forums:

There 17 competitors signed up as of February 1.  A guy named Zeke is signed up with a boat named JaMing-O if you can believe that.  There is another tongue twister named The Scuppernong coming all the way from Ruskin, FL.  That's the greatest distance to Westport so far at 1,199 miles.  Thank you, Jeff!  Another guy named Emilio racing on or with Veritas (we can all use more of that these days) hailing from Wildwood, MO is no slouch at 1,055 miles.  And there is another boat coming from Sugar Grove, IL (882 mi.). Very impressive.

We are counting on at least 60 boats.  Let's see the list grow this weekend. Follow the yellow brick road>>>>>>>>https://www.yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=9658

Someone make a comment, anything. Please. Tell me it stinks. Any comment will bring me great joy and hope.

Thanks.

Chris

As long as I get a boat together. The hull I got last year was in need of balsa core replacement.Don has 3 hulls for my choice as soon as things are back on track.

There is no reason not to make it to Westport for Racing in July...My spinnakker is Red White and Blue.

Cedar Point YC along with Candlewood YC and Sprite Island YC are looking forward to hosting the 2021 NAC in a couple of weeks. The Covid-19 positivity rate in CT for the last several days (weeks) has been under 0.50%. The beaches are open and the water is warming up. The restaurants are open. Baseball games and concerts are at full capacity. Cedar Point YC has been having races 6 days a week since Memorial Day.

So far for the 2021 NAC's we have 50 boats registered. We have room for 80 or 90. We have a great RC group lined up. We have a great schedule of events off the water lined up. All for a very low cost.

Registration is open until the day of the event. To take advantage of saving $50.00 register today! Early registration end tomorrow night.
