The Southwest District encompasses all of Texas, Arkansas, Colorado and Oklahoma.
Our active fleets in Texas are Corinthian Sailing Club in Dallas, Rush Creek Yacht Club in Heath, Lake Canyon Yacht Club in San Antonio and the Wichita Falls Club in Wichita Falls; Grande Maumelle Sailing Club in Roland, Arkansas, Colorado Sail & Yacht Club in Littleton, Colorado and Central Oklahoma Flying Scot Fleet in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Our District Governor is Paul Miller from Fleet 23 in Dallas.

Under sunny 80° skies with east winds 8-10 in Race 4 and 10-15 in Race 5, PRO Jack Yoes and crew ran 2 awesome W-L races to finish up racing in fine fashion. 2022 FS Women’s NAC - So, during the second race yesterday, this team - leading the race at the time - lost its mainsheet block when a pin let go on them. But did Andi Hoffman, Melissa Miller and Tracy Hembrick panic? Maybe a little, but not for long! While Andi kept the helm and Melissa managed the other sails, Tracy used everything she had to help control the main! And the team kept going and finished 3rd in the race. Day 1 started out with everyone dancing to R-E-S-P-E-C-T on the dock, and these women sure derserve that! 2022 FS Women’s NAC at Corinthian Sailing Club In Dallas, TX - Nina Cummings is here welcoming the 17 teams registered for this year’s event. It’s in the 80’s but the wind was in the 20’s today, just too much for a practice race. But we’re here saying hi to all our friends and enjoying the wonderful Texas hospitality at the welcome party. Racing starts tomorrow - let’s see if Greta Black Mittman, winner of the last two events, repeats against this year’s teams. Good luck all!
