2-1 Jib termination point

I thought I would find the information someplace in this forum, but have not. Where am I allowed to terminate a 2-1 Jib sheet. On the Track? On the Block? Where and how is the best place to accommodate releasing it for 1-1. Would be nice to hear how other Scot sailors have done this. Thanks Dave 5690

I have a 2-to-1 jib system lead down to the seat and I use 40mm harken carbo blocks with a becket (http://www.harkenstore.com/uniface.urd/scpdinw1.ShowProd?B4RPMEB9Y99ZVC). Works (and looks) much better then my prior bigger ratchet blocks with lines tied to the block's shackle.
