Moonsailing

In reply to the matter of night sailing, I have sailed a few times at night just for the fun of it always in calm conditions. The suction cups on the traditional red/green bow lights do work, mine are really old and I also secure the light with a lanyard to the bow handle. The stern light that came with the set was a flashlight with a clear hemispherical lens that shined in all directions. A bit of the aluminum tape used in duct work insulation made a fine shield to keep the light directed toward shining aft only, not into the cockpit. Let's see, we have moonlight, moonshine and now we have moonsail. Add it to Websters! FS3512 Gabor
