Wanted: Boom and halyard winch

I am looking for a boom and a halyard winch in very good condition. I would be interested in a boom tube with or without any fitting.

There are surely quite a few halyard winches available due to the broken masts at this year's NACs. If you want mine, which is 10-12 years old, just let me know, and I'll UPS it to you in January. No charge, just shipping.

Wow! That would be great. The halyard on my Scot is so worn, that it is difficult to raise my main unless I lubricate the winch just about every time I sail. If your winch is in good to great shape, I would love to have it. Let me know when you can ship it and we can work out the expenses.

Thank You
John

John:

Email your mailing address (not a Post Office Box) to me at RWilliams@fnbi.com. I will send the item to you the week after Christmas. You will need to order the correct rivets from Flying Scot Inc. Also, the halyards are still on the winch, but I had to cut the shackles off to pull the halyards off the broken mast. I don't remember whether or not I saved the shackles. I think the halyards should be long enough. The main halyard is from 1980. The jib halyard was new in 2005.The winch itself was new in about 1994 or so. I don't believe there are any broken strands.
