West Coast SBYC Sandy Douglas Memorial Regatta Aug 23rd & 24th

The Sequim Bay Yacht Club (pronounced "skwim") is proud to host the Sandy Douglas memorial regatta on August 23rd and 24th on beautiful Sequim Bay.  The regatta is open to Flying Scot and Thistle sailboats with each class having their own starts.
Sequim Bay is located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state and sits between the strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic National Park. The regatta will be run out of the John Wayne Marina.  There is a dinner and no-host bar for participants after racing on Saturday in the SBYC clubhouse.
We expect boats from the Richland Washington Columbia Basin Sailing Club, Seatte Washington, and of course Sequim.  The bay is a perfect venue for the Flying Scot and of special note, will be the westernmost Flying Scot regatta in the world this year.
