You tube video from NAC 4th race

I have posted a short clip from my on board head cam (GoProHD) of the first leg windard mark rounding and ensuing down wind leg at 2011 Flying Scot NAC, Challenger Class Race 4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6MIo8fUuZk. There is no cool sound track but rather go on board and get a feel for our struggle at the mark and then the joy of sailing downwind in a big blow. The pig flew! Knot Guilty 5639

That was GREAT! Put more up! I have the GoPro installed on the tiller...well, I did till the last race when the Main Sheet wrapped around it and ripped it off (it had a tether). You Rock!

Thanks for posting your video.

Thanks for posting your video. As the Champ fleet pass by headed upwind, at the 6:00 time marker, I am the all white Scot passing on your starboard side. And the Linton's cross ahead of you at the 6:15 time marker (Gus sails with green sail numbers) The resolution quality of the video is incredibly good.

Good eyes there Hot Wheels.

Good eyes there Hot Wheels. I am glad there were no port starboard situations coming back up the course. I will try and post a few more starts and roundings later in the week or early next. The video is best viewed in HD as it was shot in the same format.

Sweet video! Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Here is the link for the start of race 4. There is a big left hand shift that comes in at about 3 minutes to go and boats will struggle to make the pin end on starboard. In fact, one boat starts on port and crosses the fleet. Bill Ross will head us up just after the start as we failed to keep an eye on him and lookin else where. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5VHQ1FPySY&feature=player_embedded#!
