Apostle islands???

Has anyone sailed a Flying Scot in Lake Superior? What is the feasibility of a FS in the Apostle islands?

...i'll second chilidog's question! ...i take delivery of the new 'scot' this spring and one of my goals is to get to 'bayfield, wi.' and the apostle's.[:)] "I'm going down, into...maelstrom." FS #5949 MAELSTROM

...sailors become shellback's when they cross the equatorial line.

We sail the Apostles often in our 38' cruising sailboat, and sometimes the conditions are difficult for us. BE CAREFUL with a Scot. There are quite a few wonderful beaches and some docks. There are campsites close to beaches on many of the island also. Flys can be bad (BAD) in the early season, say thru mid-July. Distances are moderate to many sites. There are a few good put in sites. Our favorite is at Little Sand Bay.
