The Wife Husband Championship is Coming!!

OK Folks, here it is!! If you are married and still talking to you wife you may want to mark your calendar. The Wife Husband National Championship is coming to Lake Norman YC October 9 & 10, AND you are stuck with me as your PRO!! I am going to do my best to bring you some wind and no thunderstorms to make a perfect weekend. Dave Safirstein and his crew of thousands is planning a real bash on shore if you are up to it after I finish with you on the race course. [:p] The Notice of Race is on the www.fssa.com for you to take a look at. The planning is done and tweaked by our “One Design Regatta of the Year Award Winner," and last years NAC Regatta Chairman Carol Claypool. It is also a holiday weekend for many, so you will have a travel day on Monday. If not, tell the boss you need an R&R weekend with the wife or you will be in big trouble, and you’ll see him on Tuesday!! Insert a reply here and tell who plans to be here. Bronson Bowlingis considering getting married to attend the 2010 Husband & Wife Flying Scot Championship regatta. Pre-nuptial/Annulment papers to be pre-signed and post dated for the following Monday. Is this legal for the regatta?[:D] Bronson FS2321

I plan on attending but need everyone's help in pulling off my 'story'. Once Alma found out there was a no-spinny division, she quickly stated, 'We are NOT flying a spinnaker and if you expect me to race with you, we will be in the Non Spin division!'. I am in the process of convincing her that the Non spin division has been canceled and we will need to be in the A or B division. So once we are on site and I start getting grilled about 'Why are we in the Spin A or Spin B division?', come to my aid. Free beer and rum for your support.

If I sail with your wife and you sail with mine, would that still be husband and wife? We both would be technically. My wife could teach you to be a caring skipper and I may be able to show your wife that it is not really that hard! Actually we have not yet decided we are going. Dave

Okay here is what you tell her on the Spinny issue. It is better than wallowing along whilst boats pass and the breeze will be cooler and there will be a little time to rest, read her book, and maybe have a glass of wine and a hug or two [:)] We have slipped the Lake Patrol a fiver to stay at the other end of the lake so there will be no trouble with the wine. Registrations are coming in for the Wife Husband 9 boats are now registered. We have a boat from Seattle! Others from PA, VA, NC, SC, MS, FL. Check the NOR on this website.
