2144 FOR SALE

This boat was totally refurbished three years ago and sailed only a few times since. The bottom was stripped and faired and coated with VC performance epoxy, then sanded to 800 grit. the topsides are painted light gray. the deck is also light gray with flattening agent added to reduce glare. All running rigging was replaced with latest tech lines.Hardware is also updated. Jib leads on seats. Spin sheets under deck. 12 to 1 cascaded vang. Spin halyard and pole lift lead back to skipper.new shrouds and forestay, new halyards and winch box on mast.1 older set of sails and spinaker and newer racing set of snug rig Norths with pretty good spinaker. Good older trailer with new pant and tires. The bad: Mast has a very slight gradual bend, doesn't seem to affect performance.Sail numbers do not match hull number. I forgot to mention that this a Douglas boat. Just installed bow bag and transom port. Boat was 2nd in New York Lakes Districts two years ago (with novice crew). Boat is race ready.

Is the boat still available? I live in NC and looking for a nice Scot. What are the 5 "marks" near the bow to starboard? Are the trailer wheels suitable for a long transport?

Those are screws that held a "clam shell" rubber vent.

Those are screws that held a "clam shell" rubber vent... that is where I stored the spin pole pre-loaded with the guy for racing. I will replace it. The tires on the trailer are 2 yrs old with less than 500 miles.
