Trailer Parts

I have the 1974 Sterling Trailer and have to replace the rollers which are 6 inches long. Sterling has gone out of business and many stores here (West marine etc) do not stock the size. I only use the trailer to move the boat 500 feet to the ramp and back so a new trailer is not needed. Has anyone else been able to fid the rollers? I replaced the roller with a smaller one as a temporary fix- unsure that this is good for the boat. My other option is to weld a new bracket with a more standard size roller. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with Sterling Trailer rollers, but you might want to consider cutting a longer standard roller to size with a hacksaw, if you can find a new roller with the same I.D. for your through-bolt. If the O.D. is different, you can adjust the height.
