Charlotte Harbor Regatta on Flying Scot schedule

It's official. The Flying Scot Class Association this week became the first class to commit to the 2010 Charlotte Harbor Regatta, an exclusive one-design regatta scheduled for Feb. 4-7, 2010 in Charlotte Harbor, Florida. Information on registration fees, storage, notice of race, lift and launch facilities and onshore events is developing and we will post information as it become available on our Web site. The Charlotte Harbor Regatta will feature only seven one-design classes. In addition to the Flying Scots, we have received strong interest from the Melges 24 class, Sunfish, A-Class cats and the J/24 class. Inquiries also have been made to reps for the Laser SB3 and Viper 640 classes. Our thanks go out to the Flying Scot Class Association and the district reps who gave the Charlotte Harbor Regatta this vote of confidence. Thanks also to John MacDonald, who worked so hard to make this happen. For more information on Charlotte Harbor, please go to www.charlotteharbortravel.com.
