Racing Rule changes

Willii Gohl, IJ (GER) has posted online a synopsis of the changes in the Racing Rules of Sailing for 2009-2012 in a format that compares the latest rule book with the 2005-2008 edition. -- http://www.sailingscuttlebutt.com/news/08/RRS0912 After mere a quick scan, one interesting change is a new term called the "zone" around a mark which begins at "3" boat lengths, though it can be altered in the sailing instructions to "2" or "4" lengths. Also note another new term called "mark-room".
