Factory recond FS 387 No Longer for Sale

NO LONGER FOR SALE!!! FS 387 was completely reconditioned by Flying Scot, INC in the spring of 2007. I bought it then and it is now for sale. This is a beautiful Gordan Douglas boat built in 1962. The boat has a white hull with blue striping. It is outfitted with the standard "Family package" rigging (see the FS INC web site), Schurr sails (jib and main), swim ladder/grab rail(cost $152), and motor mount(cost $150). This boat is like brand new. Flying Scot repaired and applied a new gel coat to the original hull. They installed an entirely new top deck, new hardware, new lines/rigging, new centerboard/ centerboard case, new centerboard cable/winch, and new sails. All the wood was replaced with new Mahogany. Even the swim ladder/grab rail and motor mount are new. This boat looks and performs like new except for the #387 on the boat and sails. Sails have minimal wear and are still crisp. Only defect I can find is a small ding on the front side of the centerboard. It certainly is impressive to see a hull # this low look so perfect. The boat comes with a blue boom cover (cost $342), anchor/line(cost $95), North trailer cover(cost $445) and new(2007)galvanized trailer. The price below includes all of these added options. The boat is located in Hagerstown, MD. It is garage kept. It has been sailed for about 10 days. My wife wants a smaller boat with more creature comforts. [:)]I have pictures. Both the boat and trailer title are in order. A brand new scot with these options would cost $16,400. I paid $12,500. NO LONGER FOR SALE!!! Contact Jim Wagner in Hagerstown, MD tjwa...@myactv.net
