Thank you FBYC

The 2007 NAC's was a great time and Fishing Bay did a wonderful job managing a very complex event. Noel Clinard and his group were simply great hosts. Congratulations to all the top boats as well. The conditions were challenging between light winds, tides and building sea breezes, a premium was placed on being able to shift gears and pick the correct sides of the course. A great time was definitely had by me and my crew. [8] FS4830

Great, great regatta.

Great, great regatta. Many, deserved thanks have been expressed for the hospitality and graciousness of our hosts. I thank the PRO and entire race committee as well. The conditions were varied and tough for them too. I'm grateful we had the committee we did, 59 bloodthirsty racers on a single line is no joke. Good job. John Luard

Fishing Bay Yacht Club did a great job! I enjoyed the racing and the communication by Noel and team ahead of the regatta was top notch. From measurement to mashed potatos (in champagne glasses), the regatta was very well done. Thanks FBYC! Phil Scheetz FS 4086

BRAVO ZULU (That's naval code for Well Done!) to Noel and his entire team. We were treated like guests at a well planned event. Thanks especially to the tractor drivers at Harbor House for their great service, patience and hospitality. At first we thought we had been exiled on Elba, but it turns out we had a great deal. As the co-chair of the 1995 NAC in Dallas, I know your relief and elation. Somehow, it all came together. Congratulations, We had a great time.[8D] My survey is on the way back to Noel... Mission Impossible? NO WAY! FBYC is the mission POSSIBLE host

Mission Impossible? NO WAY! FBYC is the mission POSSIBLE host club!! Noel Clinard and FBYC was absolutely outstanding in hosting the 2007 Flying Scot NAC! I still am in awe on how well FBYC handled over 100 of us Flying Scot sailors. This was the best NAC regatta in which have participated, regardless of one design class. Hospitality, facilities, boat launch, racing all deserve a hearty JOB WELL DONE and THANK YOU! BZ (Bravo Zulu) Michael Mittman FS# 5804 PS: Holding the regatta to three days was for many of us, beyond delight. THANK YOU FSSA! Some of you may have suggested that Fishing Bay Yacht Club apply

Some of you may have suggested that Fishing Bay Yacht Club apply for US Sailing's St. Petersburg trophy for excellence in race management. Following that sentiment, all NAC participants have or will be receiving a letter from Noel Clinard containing a skipper's ballot to rate the quality of race management at the NACs. FBYC needs at least 60% of the skippers to respond. Let's give FBYC the kind of support they gave us. (We can do a lot better than 60%.) Fill out and mail those ballots!! FSSA Forum editor

I have to echo the sentiments of those who went to this year's NACs. Greg and I had a terrific time and the 3-day format worked well for us. Unfortunately we were not able to make it to the 50th celebration, but it looks like that was a blanst too! The organization at the 2007 NAC was superb under Noel Clinard's management. The registation team had packets all made up and ready for the skippers with all the info needed. The Sail measuring team was well organized and ready for the crowd. The bow numbers matching the trailer numbers matching the parking spots was a really ingeneous idea and ket the boats mving into and out of the water. The hospitality was great and everyone was so nice. The racing was great too, with the Race Committee waiting for just the right wind to make it really fun and challenging sailing. Of course, those Mittmans were hard to keep up with [:)] We love he skipper's bag and th belts - someone at my Club has already tried to steal the belt. Lucking it fits me tight and they can't get it from me [8D] A big thanks and congratulations to Noel and the whole team. I can't wait for next year!
