Kilts at the 50th Anniversary

We're putting together a Kilted "Honour Guard" for the 50th party. So far we've got five lads in kilts, and at least three lassies who will wear mini-kilts. We'll follow the piper and carry the haggis or something else more appropriate. We'd hate to be the only one's having this much fun and would really like to invite others to share in the joy. Get a Kilt, or if you've got one, please bring it. We didn't spend a ton of money on ours; we ordered from a place called Sportkilt.com. In honor of Sandy Douglass, all of us got the Douglass clan tartan. Any takers???

Hello, I'm organizing the 50th Anniversary Celebration at Deep Creek, so I'm glad to see this effort to get lads and lassies into kilts. I thought it was such a good idea that I've bought one myself and intend to wear it "regimental style" just to be authentic. The event is June 28 and 29th right after the NAC. My lovely lass and I will be there for the festivities in beautiful Douglas Tartan. Looking forward to sportin' the colours at Deep Creek!
