#4816 is a 1992 Flying Scot built Race rigged Scot. It is being relisted because the previous buyer didnt show up to pick up the boat! The boat was previously listed for $6500.00. The boat is completely race rigged. Since I bought the boat I have added all new sheets, Main, Jib and tapered spinnaker. I replaced the ceterboard gasket and have also purchased a new tapered spinnaker pole. The boat is rock solid. The previous owners felt the need to paint the bottom. I have started sanding off the bottom paint. The bottom is smooth, sanded to 600 grit including the centerboard. The centerboard trunk has been shimmed. All that is needed to make this boat a competitive racer is a set of decent racing sails. The sails that are with the boat are all North but they have been used a lot. They are fine for daysailing but not for racing. The trailer is also in great shape, I just added new wheels, tires and bearing buddies. I hate to see it go but due to family obligations I need to sell the boat. It is white with a red, waterline stripe. The boat is located at Lake Norman Yacht Club in Mooresville, NC. I don't have any current pictures of the boat available. I am asking $6000.00 but would take $5500.00 if you are serious about buying the boat.
