Fall 48 at Lake Norman

I need crew for for my FS 2032 "Scamp" for the Fall 48 Scot Regatta at Lake Norman, NC, November 3 & 4, 2006. If anyone would like to sail with me please respond, I would be grateful. Thank you in advance for you consideration. On the other hand, if anyone needs crew, I would be happy to crew for you if I cannot get crew for me. I have sailed in five or six Scot regattas the last three years, I am 6’ 4” tall, 53 years old and I weigh 230 lbs. Again, thank you in advance for you consideration. barney

Thank you for your effort, Bill.

Thank you for your effort, Bill. I finally got crew just today. Inexperienced, but willing and able. Now all we need is wind. See you next week. barney

As always the Lake Norman YC folks have run a fabulous regatta.

As always the Lake Norman YC folks have run a fabulous regatta. A tremendous effort was made by the members making a delicious dinner tonight for 42 boats. The seminar on starting flags was helpful to everyone. The Race Committee did a super job dealing with fickle winds and made some wise decisions not trying to continue race sequences in a dying shifty breeze. We wish to also thank all those road warriors who traveled to NC from far away. This is consistently one of the best regattas the Scot class has had for 9 years running now. We look forward to attending many more.
