Chute pole up / down haul

folks; greetings from casco bay & portland harbor maine; i want to re-install my chute pole rigging on old fs803. does anyone have any ideas for rigging the pole uphaul with shock cord and rope and rope + cleat for down haul? is not the real issue keeping the pole from going vertical? if i need to uphaul the pole [= low wind], i would not set the chute. please send ideas and parts list.
