Wife-Husband Coming UP!

There has been a number of comments about this being a five race series this time as opposed to three. This is in keeping with the By-Laws of the FSSA and up to the hosting club. Not withstanding that, we promise to keep this event as a "Wife-Husband" event and not turn it into a marathon. Bill Ross, PRO

Bill It is good to see the change to 5 races. My wife and I are planning on coming up from Satasota, FL and also couples from Tampa are planning on attending. We would not be travelling that far for a 3 race series. Lainie & Marshall Pardey FS400

Marshall is correct, there are at least 6 couples going from the FL District. In past years we discussed it but with only 3 races most felt it not worth the expense of traveling. We are also accustomed to running six races in our weekend regattas for the State Champ.

We would have loved to go but the drive was again a bit to far for us. So we'll end up going to the Mid West District Championships at Madison, WI next weekend. Where will the Wife Husband Championship Regatta be next year?

An article in Scots N' Water was mentioning that the 2007 Wife-Husband will be in Cedar Point Yacht Club, Westport, CT. Again a bit far for us. [:(]
