Being stuck up here in the northeast while some fellow sailors of mine are the MW's, it would be nice how the week was, racing etc. I see that the final results are in with a lot of DNC, DNS etc for today's races. Was it a blowout??? Mark FS 5516 Grey Hare

There are photos posted along with the results - all linked from the FSSA home page. I was there only for the first day of racing, Monday. Mark's comments about all the DNC, DNFs was eight on. The last day, Thursday built to a steady mid-twenties breeze. Carrie Carpenter tells me a bunch of boats went over, including some which turtled. Even Marcus and Marc Eagan went over - going downwind with full spinnaker. Remarkably (well maybe for us mortals) the Eagans righted themselves and still finished 9th. I have a question about the DNF's for that race - shouldn't they

I have a question about the DNF's for that race - shouldn't they have gotten scored for the number of boats in the race not counting the DNC's? I saw that they all got the same score. Byron bj
