FS1878 FOR SALE

FS1878, Douglass built 1970-71, the infamous "Hersheyboat", is being replaced by a newer Scot. So, she's gotta go. says my comptroller! Highly competitive older boat with a great race history (2 articles in Scots 'n Water); constantly updated- Quantum main/jib, Schurr spin, all new running rigging, carbo blocks, newer mast, motor mount, mooring cover, etc etc etc. Dry sailed; hull and core is tight and dry. Trailer has been used as a yard trailer, so may need some updating. Happily sailed at Saratoga Lake, NY. $2250 if she goes to a good home with a loving family. The Hersheyboat, FS 1878, has a new owner. It will remain ensconced in Fleet 161, Saratoga Lake. I will miss sailing her, but, as I wished, she will have a good home with a loving family. Meanwhile, I will begin re-rigging my newer Scot, and try to bring her up to Heshie's standards.[8D]
