F/S----????

Hello sailors---------- I,ve always liked the F/S and would like to get one. Are they a good boat to sail by myself or are they just to much to handle???. I,ve had other boats like a Starwind-19 -- Mirage 5.5 meter--Monty-17---Laugua-26 I love to sail. Thanks Chuck

I have single handed for many years and find the Scot to be an ideal boat for this. You just have to be very aware of your limitations in terms of wind and weather and not take any chances. The Scot does have a larger sail area in proportion to centerboard and hull weight than some other boats of same length so in windy conditions one should exercise caution. But they are wonderful boats to sail!
