Compass Leak Repair

My Plastimo compass is slowly losing fluid. I called the manufacturer yesterday and they said that parts needed to repair it are no longer available and that I would need to purchase a new one. Since this compass ran several hundred new I would prefer to repair it if the economics work. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to proceed from here? Thanks! - Jim Leggette FS 1518
