My TEE NEE trailer uses a 1" wheel bearing and I replace the "whole bearing" every couple of years and install bearing buddies. My boat may not be the fastest, but my trailer will keep up with any of them.

I just recently replaced the races, bearings, and seal for my 2001 Long trailer and got a kit for each wheel from Walmart for about $10.50. After trying to get just a seal from Advance Auto and them failing to match mine, I called Long Trailer in North Carolina and the nice man said just go to Walmart because the shipping from him would cost alone about the price of the kit at Walmart. Getting the old races out was quite a chore but I was able to do it with determination. I just bought our boat this past early fall and just wanted it all to be right to start out with. I feel like it is now a new trailer with new bunk pads (4), 2 tires/wheels, new winch & belt, and lights. Wallah!
