General description of possible day-sails or cruises:  This is the 6th largest lake in the United States with it's boundaries within a single state.  It's 45,000 acres (72 Square miles) with 274+ islands and an average depth of 40-45 feet.  Many opportunities for day sails around the entire lake.

What we like best about this area:   Simply beautiful -- surrounded by 3 mountain ranges, crystal clear water, spring-fed, and lots of wooded shoreline.

Fun places to visit on the water:   Lots of activities, shopping, and restaurants in various towns such as Meredith, Weirs, Alton Bay , and Wolfeboro.

Fun things to do on shore, attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc:   See web sites below.  Cruise the lake via Mount Washington Cruise boat (www.cruisenh.com).  Lots of hiking, camping and other outdoor activities within NH's White Mountains .  Several other good sailing lakes nearby including Squam and Newfound.
